This is the original Mac. Shown at left is the "small D" model as commissioned by the rhythm player in the Marc Atkinson Trio, Rueben Wier. I have built these with the regular sized soundhole as well.

The scale length is just a bit shorter than the average steel-string guitar. The larger d-shaped soundhole provides for a loud instrument with a slightly sharper note decay than the oval hole which makes it an excellent rhythm player with a serious amount of punch.

I have used Bigtone pickups in these guitars. Other options are available. I can customize the strip colourings of the rosette to suit.

Every Nyberg Marquis incorporates solid body plates, a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, headplate w/logo, rosewood bridge, adjustable truss rod (through soundhole), chrome precision tuning heads, chrome strap buttons by request, bone nut and saddle, and includes a hardshell archtop case. Lifetime warranty.

Check the Design Ethics Page for details on construction, design, and options such as pick-ups.
